The Stub it Out poster competition is now Closed.
Are you creative, live in Brent, aged 5-19 and want to help highlight the dangers of smoking then we need your help!
You can use any media to design your poster, as long as it is your own original design, it could be a drawing, a cartoon, a collage or a digital image or whatever takes your creative fancy and gets across the anti smoking message. You can use facts - did you know cigarettes contain toilet cleaner! yuck! - or a clever image to get your message across.
Once you have finished your design either post it to: Amanda Wilson, Poster Competition, Health Promotion Dept, 1st Floor, Wembley Centre for Health and Care, 116 Chaplin Road, Brent HA0 4UZ or take a photo of your design and email to: [email protected].

The Stub it Out poster competition closes on 25 February 2011, winners will be announced on No-Smoking day March 9th 2011. All entries must be received on or before the closing date. Entrants must be between 5-19 years old when they take part in the competition. Drawing should be A4 size. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes will be awarded of £25 for first prize, £15 for second and £10 for third prize in each category. Categories: Group 1: age 5-7. Group 2: 8-11. Group 3: 12-15. Group 4: 16-19. Winning posters will be used for promotional purposes by NHS and other organisations in Brent.

Irish World Poster Competition - This competition is now closed
Are you a creative young person, full of great ideas? Then why not take part in the Irish World Vinspired Competition, for your chance to win one of three great prizes, and also have your very own winning illustration featured on T-shirts, worn by the Brent Youth Volunteers for St Patrick's Day Parade in Brent and London City Centre. We want you to illustrate a part of the famous Finn McCool legend - any part that tickles your fancy - and then take a digital photo of your illustration, simple as that.
